ANDROID ENGINEER
6 months contract initially
Location: Salford
Off payroll regulations apply.
What will you be doing?
Primarily focus on the modernisation of coding languages. In this case this will be the replacement of Java code with Kotlin.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Native Android development experience
- Strong experience with Kotlin and Java
- A solid grounding in OOP analysis and design
- Solid understanding of MVP pattern
- Test and Behaviour Driven Development with knowledge and experience of software testing techniques including: unit testing with GHUnit,
- Working knowledge of web services & REST APIs
- Experience of deploying production code in a Continuous Integration environment using Jenkins
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
