Our client is an integrated producer broadcaster and creates, owns and distributes content on multiple platforms globally. The Company operates through two segments: Broadcast & Online and TV Studios.
The Broadcast division is home to the client’s family of channels – the largest family of free-to-air commercial channels in the UK, with programming delivered across multiple platforms, including linear television, on demand via their app, OTT service, and through pay providers such as Sky and Virgin.
Role Profile
Reed Professional Services are working with our client’s Data team. The way they approach their data platform – also known as data mesh development – is somewhat new in the industry and it comes with lots of platform automations. There are a great deal of possibilities around computer vision and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and also some really interesting developments in optimisation on the horizon. We have therefore been asked to provide experienced Data Engineers with scripting skills to assist in making a more stable and efficient data environment.
